Proprietor & Founder
Akshay Nikam is the Proprietor of GEOCON Consultancy, GEOCON Environment Services, and Founder of Prime Digital Signature. He is actively engaged in the urban development sector across Maharashtra, working closely with Municipal Corporations, Municipal Councils, and Nagar Panchayats.
Mr. Nikam has extensive experience in Solid Waste Management, Property Tax Management, Development Planning, IEC (Information, Education & Communication) Activities, Biomining of Legacy Waste, and Urban Planning Projects. Through his technical expertise and field-level implementation, he has contributed to helping several cities and urban local bodies in Maharashtra move towards achieving 100% scientific solid waste management and sustainable urban development goals.
He holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Geo Informatics (GIS) from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University through the Institute of Environment Education and Research (BVIEER), Pune. His academic background in Geo Informatics and GIS technology has strengthened his capabilities in planning, mapping, environmental management, and smart urban governance solutions.
